(or QBO) is one of the most powerful bookkeeping and accounting tools around, and you can choose a plan that has the features to suit your needs!
For most of our clients, we recommend the Essentials Plan. Reason being? The Simple Start subscription lacks the reporting you need to make sound business decisions, and the Plus subscription could be over-kill!
Lastly, the QuickBooks Self Employed subscription – just stay away from it. Yes, we know it’s the cheapest. Yes, we know you’re self employed. But we’re telling you, do not sacrifice quality for quantity here! The Self Employed Subscription is truly designed for freelancers or those with a ‘side-hustle’ who have little to no income and expenses. Are you running a side hustle? Didn’t think so! Also, when you do decide to upgrade to a better subscription like the Essentials Subscription, there is absolutely NO WAY to transfer your data from Self Employed to your upgraded subscription. Yikes!!
